Dr. Xu is an active member of Ontario Dental Association and International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Since 1999, Dr. Xu has offered exceptional dental care to the Chinese community of great Toronto area (GTA).
Dr. Xu graduated with Outstanding Graduate Award from School of Stomatology, Beijing Medical University. She also got her master degree of Prosthodontics and practiced dentistry in School of Stomatology, Beijing Medical University. After immigrant to Canada, Dr. Xu passed a series of exams and got her dental licence in Canada.
Dr. Xu enjoys skiing, traveling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Minxi Liu is a general dentist with 12 years experience working in a large teaching hospital in Beijing. He worked in the dental department and provided care to dental patients with dental treatment (fillings，root canal treatment, oral surgery, crowns & bridges, dentures), implants and clinical teaching. Dr. Liu have successfully treated approximately 30,000 outpatients using strong clinical skills. Dr. Liu received his Master’s Degree in Dentistry, Specialized in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from the Health Science Center of Peking University in 2000.
When Dr. Liu is not at the office, he enjoys playing sports, reading, arts, and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Zhou graduated from School of Stomatology, Wuhan University. She received her PhD Degree in Dentistry from School of Stomatology, Wuhan University in 2009. After that, she worked in Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University which has long been ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals. She worked in Department of Periodontology, Outpatient Dental Clinic, and Department of Implantology, and provided care to dental patients with a variety of dental treatment.
Dr. Zhou passed a series of canadian dental exams and finally became a licensed dentist in Canada. Currently, Dr. Zhou is a member of Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Zhou enjoys playing badminton, jogging, and spending time with her husband, two little kids and friends.
Dr. Gloria Chang received her dental degree from the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, Dr. Chang completed a one-year general practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City where she furthered her dental training by learning the management of medically complex patients. A Toronto native and long-time patient of the practice, Dr. Chang has also worked as a dental assistant and maintains a great relationship with the clinic. She is thrilled to return to Crystal Dental Center to provide comprehensive dental care for the community.
In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys playing multiple instruments, exercising, yoga, reading, and travelling.
Grace had been a physician for many years and was in charge of training medical students and refresher doctors in Beijing. She entered into the dental field when she arrived in Canada. She became a Register Dental Hygienist after she finished the Dental Hygiene Program in Toronto. She is an active member of "The Canadian Dental Hygienists Association" and "College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario". She proudly holds a certificate of "Orthodontic Clinics for Dental Hygienist".
Grace joined our office and became a full time dental Hygienist for many years. She is always able to demonstrate great work ethics. She has strong professional skills and works with great enthusiasm. She carries an excellent reputation amongst our patients.
In her spare time, Grace enjoys reading, gardening, music, pilates and drawing.
Mahshid is an internationally trained dentist from Iran with nearly 20 years of experience in dentistry in her home country. Since relocating to Canada, she has gained several years of experience as a dental hygienist. Additionally, she is certified as both an orthodontic hygienist and a restorative hygienist. Her advanced training in restorative hygiene, obtained through George Brown College, has significantly enhanced her skills in performing restorative and orthodontic procedures, in addition to general hygiene tasks.
Shamsah graduated several years ago with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from an American college, where she was honored with an Academic Achievement Award for excellence in both academic and clinical courses. She is dedicated to staying current in her field through regular participation in continuing education courses and is an active member of the Ontario Dental Hygienists’ Association. Her professional experience has primarily been in general practice, and she thoroughly enjoys working with both adults and children.
In her spare time, Shamsah enjoys reading, is a movie enthusiast, and follows the U.S. stock markets.
